By materializing the architecture which is characteristic for the town and the urban structure with the authentic patina talking about duration and town-reconstruction, this graphic artist - like Tadijanovic - expressed himself and connected the past with the present and the future. Thus, in his atmosphere, he came near to the poet. In his work he does not show the inhabitants, but, nevertheless, his panoramas are self-sufficient and imply life, Mates's life or the life of somebody else, with or without us, with the author or when he is gone.
